Eddie Adams

I'm a big fan of Eddie Adams and one of the best photographs that I like is this one. During the Vietnam War Eddie Adams was working
for the Associate Press, he took his best-known photograph – the picture of police chief General Nguyen Ngoc Loan executing a Vietcong prisoner, Nguyen Van Lem, on a Saigon street, on February 1, 1968, during the opening stages of the Tet Offensive.

Eddie Adams won the 1969 Pulitzer Prize for Spot News Photography and a World Press Photo award for this photograph.

Looking at this photographs is very sad and touching. Yes, it was during the Vietnam War and the Vietcong was consider the enemies, but how can you stand in front of another human beings and shoot them point blank?

For my photo 1b final project, I'm hoping to recreate some of Eddie Adams best works.
